For
use on all kinds of engines.
Designed with grooved pins which are designed hold the
camshaft pulley stationary while loosening and tightening
the center shaft bolt.
While useful on most Asian overhead cam engines, it's
most needed on transverse mounted V6 engines such as
the VG30 used in Nissan maxima, as well as, the 3VZFE
and 1MZFE engines used in TOYOTA CAMRYS.
The
rear pulleys on these models are in very close
proximity to the shock tower making removal and
replacement difficult without this locking device.
