Releases tension on Serpentine Belts with spring loaded idler pulley. This tool is used to remover and install belts on serpentine belt systems using the spring loaded idler pulley. Fits idler pulleys requiring 13, 15, 16, 18mm or 3/8" square drive socket size, which are on most all domestic applications. Select proper socket size and position tool idler arm, (handle only is used for 16mm applications) pulley or pull to relieve tension.
